What do we use Radiesse?

Radiesse is a temporary filler used to fill wrinkles and improve facial contours, such as:

  • filling the naso-labial fold
  • to alleviate marionette lines and drooping corners of the mouth
  • improving volume cheekbones and cheeks
  • improved jawline contours
  • chin augmentation with small children or severely withdrawn
  • non-surgical nose jobs
  • hand rejuvenation

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse provides immediate improvement so a client is already looking better when Radiesse is injected. In addition, Radiesse stimulates the body to create new collagen results in 12-18 months. Radiesse is a permanent injectable skin fillers (implant) used for the augmentation of soft tissue, such as facial wrinkles, folds and contours. Radiesse is a long lasting but not permanent filler. The FDA approved Radiesse consists of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel. Radiesse is the first filler that not only provides volume replacement to wrinkles, folds and fat loss, but also stimulates the body to produce new collagen. This unique action restores the fullness and contours of a youthful, healthy appearance with sustained results that on average one year or longer. Radiesse is extremely safe, 100% biocompatible and biodegradable.

Treatment with Radiesse

Depending on the treatment area and your needs you will be sedated beforehand. Radiesse with a thin needle deeper into the skin injected. After the treatment the skin is slightly red and swollen. Blue spots can also occur. This is temporary. The swelling pull within 2-5 days. Any bruising with makeup can be well camouflaged. Treatment with Radiesse lasts about 15 to 30 minutes.
