How it works:

  • First you'll come for a preliminary analysis by one of our specialists where there will be judged whether you are eligible for treatment or not.
  • First, there will be a subjective observation to take place as is usual from the eye doctor.
  • Then an objective measurement performed by the CustomVue ™ Scan will take place.
  • Your eye is then scanned at 250 different points in the iris.
  • This method is not less than 25 times more accurate than the standard methods of measurement! Then the CustomVue ™ scanner will be used to create a safe ray of light in the eye in order to shine.
  • The light will be reflected by the retina, and goes from the pupil in the scanner where it will be collected and put in a unique pattern that contains all the data about the iris.
  • All these visual irregularities are then displayed in a CustomVue ™ Treatment plan, a sort of fingerprint of your vision.
  • This report provides information on the frontal surface of your eye and clearly shows how light is focused in different areas of the eye.
  • The information that will be obtained is introduced into the excimer laser, and so the ophthalmologist can perform the CustomVue ™ treatment for your specific needs and disorders.
