Instructions permanent hair removal before and after the treatment

For best results, here are some instructions you should follow before and after the treatment. If there are any changes in your personal information that may affect your health or treatment, please inform Laser Company beforehand.

  • Try to minimize sun exposure for at least 14 days before your treatment. The treated area isn’t allowed to get suntanned. We encourage you to use a good sunblock, especially in sunny periods. Use of the solarium during the treatment period should also be avoided. Have you been intensively exposed to the sun?
  • Please inform Laser Company before your treatment!
  • We kindly ask you to shower and shave the treatment area.before you come for a consultation or treatment. Shaving preferably 1 to 2 days in advance. Depending on the treatment area, do not use deodorant, body lotion, perfume, aftershave, makeup, etc.
  • After treatment, irritation or redness in the treated area can occur. In most cases it will disappear after a few minutes. You can apply some cooling gel on the irritated area. In extreme cases you may experience changes in pigmentation (light or dark) or small burns. If you notice this, you should immediately contact Laser Company so the right measures can be taken.
  • Within 1 to 14 days after treatment, there may be hairs starting to form in the treated area. These hairs will fall out naturally.
  • The hairs growing back can be removed ONLY by razor. Absolutely not with tweezers, wax or other methods in which the hairs are pulled out by the roots!
